NapolA
In the scene where the students were asked to write an essay on "Winter landscape as a background for German Kinghts sagas"
Albrecht Stein: [reading from his essay] "Despite remembering our innocent childhood, Winter and a view of fresh snow awakens in us, humans, a feeling of obscure happiness. Maybe because of the fact that as children we used to associate snow with Christmas. And in my dreams, I used to be a knight who saves a virgin from a dragon and frees the world from evil. When we left and looked for the captives yesterday, I suddently remembered that boy who wanted to save the world from the evil.
Vogler: Enough.
Albrecht Stein: When we returned, I understood. Indeed, it is I who have become that evil. Evil that I wanted to free the world from.
Vogler: Albrecht, enough.
Albrecht Stein: Killing the captives is not acceptable. They were not armed, as Stein suggested in order to bait us.
Vogler: Stop!
Albrecht Stein: We did not shoot men but children.
Vogler: Leave at this instance!
This is a really great movie, the two main charcters are absolutely inspirational. The director captured, in those meer 2 hours, the essence of life and world of youth in that generation. I've got a quote here, i'm thinking it fits:
Maturing is when stripped of innocence, when understanding truth, when knowing the consequences of everything you do ...

The Talented Mr. Ripley
Tom Ripley: If I could just go back... if I could rub everything out... starting with myself.
Tom Ripley: Well, whatever you do, however terrible, however hurtful, it all makes sense, doesn't it, in your head. You never meet anybody that thinks they're a bad person.
Tom Ripley: Don't you just take the past and put it in a room in a basement and lock the door and never go in there? That's what I do, And then you meet someone special and all you want to do is to toss them the key and say; open up, step inside, but you can't, because it's dark, There's demons and if anybody saw how ugly it is. I keep wanted to do that, fling the door open just let light in and clean everything out.

Pearl Harbour
Quotes :
Rave : Ma'am, I'm never gonna be an english teacher but i know why I'm here. To be a pilot. And you don't dogfight with manuals, you don't fly with gauges. I mean, its all about feelings and speed and letting that plane become like a part of your body. And that manual says that a guy who's a slow reader can't be a good pilot. That file says I'm the best pilot in this room. Ma'am, please don't take my wings.
Gooz : Pride of the Pacific.
Earl : Who are you?
Danny : Terrors of the skies
Colonel : You know what top secret is?
Rave : Yes sir, its the kind of mission where you get medals, But, they send them to your relatives.
Colonel : Top secret means you train for something never done before in aviation history and you go without knowing where you're going. You do it on that basis or not at all.
Rave : I'll go sir.

fake
It's that kind of shit that when you see friends or their friends commenting in fb in broken english, you start wincing. Like why don't they speak better? And then you snap back and vision slapping yourself, questioning who the hell gave you the right to criticize. Then it seems all werid when people pour their thoughts online and you just think : hey, it isn't like that, what gave you the idea? Its so immature.
You didn't realize that its you who's naive, and when its given enough time, you start over again on what the hell happened. And you find out the real reason is, 'cause when they do that, the little flicker of hope that you can be better just crushes down on you. You look away. It ain't going to be like that, you will be better. But the liability of their ignorance pulls you under. Then the rant starts. How things supposedly should be, brainwashing yourself. It ends after 40seconds though. The cycle goes on. Maybe its how it works, maybe its the changes revolving so fast, and maybe mostly because you don't know what else...
Theres no prove to the capabilities you have 'cause when you reach that stage, you might well be over middleage. Theres no one there 'cause your friends are as confused as you are and as their status is usually over your parents, it option opening up and whinning like how teens should is brutally omitted. Then you tear up inside and feel lonely, and you know that its all gone now 'cause when you fall into that pit, you can't get out. And it all blacks out.
You can't be true, because you don't know how. You are fake.

Jeux d'enfants
a must see
sophie x julliann best of all combinations. This story brings you back to childhood where dreams were lived, fantasy painted, laws of humanity challenged. A love story of the two privileged, cap pas cap?

(sry if you need to copy it out >.<)
Hey! Check this movie out. One of the best i've seen, stunning story, intense characters, astounding portrayal of "Ondskan". Depicts the phycology of a very troubled teenager who was physically abused constantly by his stepfather and later trying to stay afloat above all in the midst of school bullying.

6.59
New beginnings, new outfits, old books, traditional ways, change
things so much felt in the silence of that moment. Both glared. At the bottom of the stairwell lay that man. 6.59, the clock ticked, sixty short seconds to that very last minute.
"Buzzz.....................!"
"ding dong, ding dong, ding dong.........!"
"Bpuhu, bpuhu...."
The old radio automatically turned itself on. Out it played the nation's song....
Both, sunk into oblivion no one ever been. Anchored by guilt they were. Dark thoughts not spoken. Prayers not heard. The breach of pact pinned down their worst fears...
